外语教研室简介

外语教研室拥有一支理论素养高、实践经验丰富的教师队伍。现有教职工10人，40岁及以下青年教职工占比30%，女性教职工占比80%，专任教师中硕士及以上学位占比90%，高级专业技术职务占比40%。2020年外语教研室被评为“学校巾帼文明岗”，曾多次被授予校先进集体；1位教师获上海市园丁奖，教师中多人被授予校优秀教师、优秀青年教师等称号。

外语教研室工作涉及教学、科研、竞赛等多个方面。教学方面，外语教研室积极落实立德树人根本任务，面向学院校高职、中本、中高职贯通、中职四种不同层次学生主要开设了英语综合、英语口语和听力、英语语法、英美文化、基础德语等多门课程。学生过级率高，教学效果显著，普遍受到学生的好评。

在科研方面，外语教研室研究方向包括应用语言学、英语语言文学、英语教学法、英语翻译实践、商务英语等。近年来主持或参与的教研项目有10项以上,发表核心论文10篇，参与编写教材10本，字典1部，指导过大学生创新训练项目5项，具有一定的科研能力。

竞赛成绩显著。在每年举办的各项英语大赛中，我院校学生报名人数不断增加。在国家以及市级技能竞赛中，每年均获得一等奖奖项，展示了我院校学生较强的英语应用能力。

Introduction to the Department of Foreign Language Education

The Department of Foreign Language Education boasts a team of highly knowledgeable and experienced teachers. Currently, there are 10 faculty members, with 30% of them being young professionals aged 40 and below. Female faculty members make up 80% of the department, and 90% of the full-time teachers hold a master's degree or above. Additionally, 40% of the faculty members hold senior professional titles. In 2020, the Department of Foreign Language Education was awarded the School Civilization Post and has been recognized as an advanced collective by the university on multiple occasions. One teacher received the Shanghai Garden Award, and several teachers have been honored with titles such as Excellent Teacher and Outstanding Young Teacher at the university level.

The work of the Department of Foreign Language Education encompasses teaching, research, and competitions. In terms of teaching, the department actively implements the fundamental task of moral education and talent cultivation. It offers various courses such as English comprehensive, spoken and listening English, English grammar, English and American culture, and basic German to students at different levels, including higher vocational education, undergraduate programs, the integration of secondary and higher vocational education, and secondary vocational education. The students have a high pass rate, and the teaching effectiveness is remarkable, receiving positive feedback from students.

In terms of research, the Department of Foreign Language Education focuses on applied linguistics, English language and literature, English teaching methods, English translation practice, and business English. In recent years, they have undertaken or participated in over 10 research projects, published 10 core papers, contributed to the writing of 10 textbooks and one dictionary, and guided five college student innovation training projects, demonstrating their research capability.

The department has achieved remarkable results in competitions. The number of students from our university participating in various English competitions increases every year. In national and municipal skills competitions, our students consistently receive first prize awards, showcasing their strong English language proficiency.
